This chapter represents the ``reverse side of the coin'' to the chapter on host security problems. In this chapter we present possible solutions to the host security problems in a theoretical and practical manner. In the theoretical section we present some possible solutions with indications of how well they would solve our problems. The practical section discusses and sometimes illustrates how to implement the solutions that have been proposed in the theoretical section.
